The Master Key Experience – Week C1 Life Changing Transitions

bs-stairway-to-heavenIt’s interesting the insights the Hero’s Journey gifts to the sojourner.  Last week, I received the ‘Death Watch’ call from my family. My mother, now in the 8th decade of her journey, is approaching death.  She suffers from Dementia, a terrible consciousness stealing process which takes down the body after it takes down the mind. Unable to swallow, her body has become skeletal. The sweetness of her soul still brightly shines. It’s a great gift to know that the essence of who you are, really, cannot be compromised by illness, trials, or anything else thrown in your path.  I am reminded of something Wayne Dyer often said.  When you squeeze an orange, you get orange juice.

What does all of THAT have to do with the Master Key Experience?

Everything.

We are saying good bye to someone we love and respect. Who she is can never be replaced. dotvital.com-fresh-orange-juiceShe is one of Nature’s Greatest Miracles, and for us, the special miracle of being a Mom.

The Law of Dual Substitution: We cannot think of two things at the same time. If a negative thought enters your mind, think about God. Jesus, the Master, said, resist not evil, meaning turn from it and think about something else instead.

I get to choose. I can think of ‘losing’ my mother, and go into depression and great sadness, or I can think about something else instead.  I can think of the many gifts she bestowed upon us throughout her life and ours. Out of her heart poured tens of thousands of loving-kindnesses to all she met, but especially to her children and her family. When I think on those, I smile, and I see the world as a beautiful, wonder-filled, total and completely astonishing place.  What a great gift.

The Law of Dual Thought: Thought is a combination of ideation and feeling. We can attach any feeling to a thought we want.

heaven-gatewayI get to choose. I can be angry and sad that she is dying, or I can feel overwhelming Gratitude for the privilege of knowing her, loving her, and being loved by her. I can feel grief, or recognize the greater truth that she is an eternal being, and that presence in my life will continue, albeit in a difference manner. I can choose to feel happy for her that she is about to embark upon the greatest of all adventures: eternity.

In the Master Key Experience, we discover our authentic selves, the one that, when squeezed, emits the essential truths, characteristics, and values of who we are created to be.  We discover how to transform limiting habits and beliefs into powerful allies that propel us on the journey to our magnificence. We discover a brilliant light shining from our core that cannot be extinguished.  We discover and uncover. I am so thankful to continue to be on this Hero’s Journey.

Week 20A: The Master Key Experience – The Scepter of Power

one-with-god_one with all smHaanel tells us “The Scepter of Power is Consciousness, and Thought is its messenger” [The Master Keys, Part 20:3] Just what the heck is a Scepter?  By definition, it is an ornamented staff carried by rulers on ceremonial occasions as a symbol of sovereignty.  Is consciousness, therefore, merely a symbol held within the mind-body?

In the next breath, Haanel states “This messenger is constantly molding the realities of the invisible world into the conditions and environments of your objective world.”  It appears that the messenger is the one who sovereignly owns the power symbolized by the scepter.  In other words, out thoughts, our thinking, generate the power expressing in us, as us, and through us. Our consciousness is the symbol of that power, and through our consciousness, our thoughts create either good or evil, for it is in our consciousness that the intention behind our thoughts and our resultant actions is derived.

In practice, I have found that these two, consciousness and thoughts, are equal partners in the creation of my life. My consciousness imbues my thoughts with loving kindness. My thoughts, permeated with this quality, generate actions which spread loving-kindness, compassion, goodness, and mercy into the world in which I abide.  BECAUSE I am One with God, it is His work that is done through my actions on my best days, those days wherein I have successfully aligned my consciousness and thoughts with the heart of God.

One with God. One with All.  A lofty ideal. Thank goodness for the laws of Growth, and of We are OnePractice!!!! The Hero’s Journey to a thorough understanding and application of the fact that I live and breathe and have my being through God, and that we are indivisibly and inexorably united inspires me daily. The Omniscient, Omnipotent Master Designer, Creator, and Sustainer of all that Is, that Was, and that Is to Come is omnipresent in me, as me, and through me.  Pretty cool!

Week 16: The Master Key Experience – We Will, We Will RAK YOU!!!

the-ripples-are-getting-bigIt was Kindness Week in the Master Key Experience. Everyone in the course focused on kindness, on seeing it in others, and in performing RAKs [Random Acts of Kindness] ourselves each and every day.

The joyful part of this week is that it is a tangible demonstration of the Law of Growth:  “Whatever you think about grows. What you forget atrophies.”  By the end of the week, I saw kindness EVERYWHERE, and in EVERYONE I met.

The beautiful part of this week is that each RAK creates a Ripple Effect.  Loving-kindness generates loving kindness, and an upward spiral of kindness, gratitude, happiness, and love rises to the heavens.  It spreads outward into countless lives.  I wonder just how many lives were touched by the over 7000 Random Acts of Kindness which we, collectively, gave to the world?

What did we receive?  An abundance of laughter, love, gratitude, and peace.

Please leave a comment below, and share how you experience kindness in your life today.  Then Share!  Create your Own Ripple in the Ocean of Love in which we all live.

Week Sixteen: The Great MKMMA Adventure – The 10 Habits of Kindness

Kindness WaveThis week, we loosed Wave of Kindness upon the world: 300 people committed to committing a minimum of 2 random acts of kindness done with an attitude of love each and every day.

If the wing of a butterfly as it moves across a field in South America affects the air currents on the entire planet, what do you think the      focused attention of 300 people can accomplish in transforming the world into a kinder, gentler place?

The practice of kindness enriches us, enlivens, us, and results in happiness. Each act of kindness has a ripple effect, and we really have no way of knowing how many lives each random act of kindness has in the world.

There is a sweetness in life when lived in the experience and energy of loving-kindness. And who doesn’t like sweet?

So, to sweeten your life, here are your 10 Habits of Kindness:

  1. Kind People Send flowers, chocolates, cookies, cards. In today’s ‘electronic world’, the human touch is looking like a candidate for the Endangered Species List! Touch someone’s heart today.
  2. Kind People Live Scroll Two: Choose to greet the day with love in your heart, and then give that love away in the form of heart-felt appreciation of another. Compliment someone. Offer deserved praise for a job well done, or a kind word spoken.
  3. Kind People Practice Compassion. Practice Rule Number Five. Honey, it’s not about you. When you are dealing with someone who is being the north end of a south bound horse, it’s about them. What can you say to make a difference? Sometimes, the simple act of          acknowledging that another person is having a difficult time frees them to remember who they really are.
  4. Kind People Kick Up An Attitude of Gratitude! Who has made a difference in your life? Find them. Call them. Write them a Thank You Note. Let them know the difference they made in you, and how much you appreciate them for doing so.
  5. Kind People Are Shocking! Walk into the local post office, police station, fire station, or sheriff’s office and thank the men and women there for their service to the community.

Want to really shock them? Bring donuts and coffee.

  6. Kind People Are Engaging. Speak to the folks you encounter during the day. All those clerks, sales people,       service workers, teachers, janitors, garbage collectors, cleaning ladies, gardeners…..they all have names. Stop long enough to find out what their name is, and talk with them. Let them know they are seen, and heard, and worth seeing and being heard.
  7. Kind People Become Fairy God Mothers: Seriously, folks. Consider making a child’s wish come true. The Make-A-Wish Foundation gives you numerous levels and manners of giving a child the desires of their heart. Check it out for the ultimate feel-good experience.
  8. Kind People Become Selfish! Selfish is a good thing. It has nothing to do with being self-centered. It has everything to do with being a centered self, someone who has done the work, knows who they are, what they want, and when and where they are going. They are free to love, to laugh, to rejoice in being alive because they do not need the approval of others. They are Self-Actualized and Self-Directed. The Master Keys will do that for you, if you do the work. It’s the Ultimate Act of Kindness to You, and to everyone you know.
  9. Kind People are Polite: Please and Thank You are ALWAYS fashionable. So strut your ‘Miss Manners’ best and watch what happens! Guarantee you’ll love the results!
  10. Kind People are Generous: Mark J is the epitome of this one. This man gives away more skills than Carter has pills. Authentic kindness kills fear, stinginess, stress, anxiety, and trusts that the Law of Reaping and Sowing is true. They freely give what they have, knowing that the more they give, the more they will receive. It’s a beautiful thing.quipple691
