The Master Key Experience – Week C1 Life Changing Transitions

bs-stairway-to-heavenIt’s interesting the insights the Hero’s Journey gifts to the sojourner.  Last week, I received the ‘Death Watch’ call from my family. My mother, now in the 8th decade of her journey, is approaching death.  She suffers from Dementia, a terrible consciousness stealing process which takes down the body after it takes down the mind. Unable to swallow, her body has become skeletal. The sweetness of her soul still brightly shines. It’s a great gift to know that the essence of who you are, really, cannot be compromised by illness, trials, or anything else thrown in your path.  I am reminded of something Wayne Dyer often said.  When you squeeze an orange, you get orange juice.

What does all of THAT have to do with the Master Key Experience?

Everything.

We are saying good bye to someone we love and respect. Who she is can never be replaced. dotvital.com-fresh-orange-juiceShe is one of Nature’s Greatest Miracles, and for us, the special miracle of being a Mom.

The Law of Dual Substitution: We cannot think of two things at the same time. If a negative thought enters your mind, think about God. Jesus, the Master, said, resist not evil, meaning turn from it and think about something else instead.

I get to choose. I can think of ‘losing’ my mother, and go into depression and great sadness, or I can think about something else instead.  I can think of the many gifts she bestowed upon us throughout her life and ours. Out of her heart poured tens of thousands of loving-kindnesses to all she met, but especially to her children and her family. When I think on those, I smile, and I see the world as a beautiful, wonder-filled, total and completely astonishing place.  What a great gift.

The Law of Dual Thought: Thought is a combination of ideation and feeling. We can attach any feeling to a thought we want.

heaven-gatewayI get to choose. I can be angry and sad that she is dying, or I can feel overwhelming Gratitude for the privilege of knowing her, loving her, and being loved by her. I can feel grief, or recognize the greater truth that she is an eternal being, and that presence in my life will continue, albeit in a difference manner. I can choose to feel happy for her that she is about to embark upon the greatest of all adventures: eternity.

In the Master Key Experience, we discover our authentic selves, the one that, when squeezed, emits the essential truths, characteristics, and values of who we are created to be.  We discover how to transform limiting habits and beliefs into powerful allies that propel us on the journey to our magnificence. We discover a brilliant light shining from our core that cannot be extinguished.  We discover and uncover. I am so thankful to continue to be on this Hero’s Journey.

Week 21: The Master Key Experience – Do You Have Authority?

Michaelangelo The Creation of Adam“Let us make man in our Image, after our likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the foul of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Gen 1:26

“And out of the ground, the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every foul of the air, and brought them unto Adam, to see what he would call them; and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the foul of the air, and to every beast of the field.” Gen 1:19-20a.

What’s in a name? Biblically, the name represents the nature, the spirit, the character, the Adam-naming-animals-by-Theophanes-at-Meteoracharacteristics, and the essence, in every way, of the thing. In giving man the power and authority to name ‘every beast of the field’, God gave the authority to define the very essence and meaning of that thing. This is one of two specific ways which man is made in the image of God.

Haanel echoes this. “The spirit of the thing is that thing….It becomes active through your recognition of it and its possibilities.”  The Master Keys, 20.1

The other is free will… the freedom to choose a course of action, a thought.

In The Master Keys, we master the Power to Name. We develop authority to consciously ‘name’ the qualities we desire in our lives, as well as the power to be at cause in their creation and manifestation.

For example, biochemically, fear and excitement generate the same response in the body. We have the opportunity to express our two divine rights: the freedom to choose and the freedom to name. My life experience arises from my living into being made in the Image of God. I choose to name that response excitement, and my life is a grand adventure. I choose to name that response fear, and my life is a reactionary nightmare. That’s the Power to Name.

“The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one;’  John 17:22

heart-in-hand-of-godAgain, Haanel follows Biblical truths. “The real secret of power is consciousness of power.” 21.1 “…the more conscious we become of our unity with the sources of all power, the greater will be our power to control and master every condition.” 21.5

We cannot claim our inheritance if we are unconscious of its existence. Even if we are conscious of our oneness with God, we cannot sow the seeds of that life unless we name it and claim it. If we do, we reap a bountiful harvest.

Question: What kinds of things exist in your life that you can transform by exercising your Power to Name? How would your life be different?

Week 17A – The Master Key Experience – The Hero’s Journey

The Hero's Journey

The Hero’s Journey

The Hero’s Journey is a never-ending story. The majestic experience of continually discovering truths about both ourselves and our world invites us to ever move forward, to listen anew to the Herald’s Call, and to then embark upon the next Great Adventure which defines our lives, ourselves, our souls, our hearts, and our minds.

It is the great love story of our lives, filled with challenges to overcome, disasters to avert, worlds to conquer, new territories to explore, skills to master, kindnesses to shower upon others, and ourselves, and love to share with all we meet. It is in this Great Adventure where we discover we have met the enemy, and he is us; where we rend open our hearts and allow

We meet the enemy, and he is us.

We meet the enemy, and he is us.

compassion to heal us and the worlds we walk through; where we are transfigured into the image of the Divine.  It is this that binds us to God, for it is in the choosing that we are chosen.  It is here we realize that we are the Phoenix, rising again from the ashes, recreated in strength and beauty to live into our magnificence.  It is here we are given eyes to see and ears to hear.

It is here we meet the one we were created to be when we were knit together in our mother’s wombs.

The treasures of the Hero’s Journey are available to all who take the journey, so who, once hearing the Herald’s Call, would fall away, and how would that happen?

Wormtongue whispering to you, “It’s ok to relax, to simple sit this one out, to chill. After all, you’ve worked so hard. You deserve a break today.”

At least, that’s how it was for me. Thank God for the cards, which ring the Herald’s Call anew finding-joeinto my heart with every reading. Thank God for the 7 Laws of Mind, which keep my thinking straight. Thank God for the Blue Print Builder, which actually gave me the exact words I needed when once accused of a behavior which was not indicative of who I am. Thank God for the Alliances, where the strength, courage, insights, and victories of others on their Hero’s Journey gave me the strength and courage to continue when my strength and courage waned.  Thank God for the progressions, amplifying the effectiveness of each exercise and propelling me towards living into my heart’s desire.

Thank God for the Master Key Experience.

I’ve paid the price, walked the talk, and found the treasures promised by the Hero’s Journey are but the tip of the iceberg of what is truly available to me.  I am living in a home overlooking the lake, surrounded by people who love me and see me for who I am, driving a new car which was

not even imagined when I began this journey, certified as both a Pranic Healer and a Pranic Healing Instructor, a Master Guide in the MasterKeyExperience opening the world of infinite possibility to those who want more, discovering even more modalities which effectively support the body in its healing journey, detoxing my body now that I’ve detoxed my mind, getting healthier and stronger daily, seeing more and more kindness and happiness everywhere I go, and the list goes on and on.

Is it worth it?

Definitely.

Can anyone do this?

Definitely.

Do you want to discover who you were meant to be?

Week 3: The Master Key Experience – Limbic Yoga

Reading, 'Riting, 'Rithmetic

Reading, ‘Riting, ‘Rithmetic

What are the 3 Rs?

If you are of a certain era, the response is “Reading, ‘Riting, & ‘Rithmetic”, which clearly shows the need for more emphasis on Spelling.

In the REAL world, the 3 Rs are the fuel of that part of the brain responsible for decision making. The Limbic System IS that part of the “Inquiring Mind” that wants to know, and what it wants to know is this:

  1. What’s the RISK?
  2. What’s the REWARD potential?
  3. What’s the RATIO of Risk to Reward?

When we ramble through our lives unconsciously realizing that our Limbic risk-reward-ratioSystem is continually asking and answering these three questions, we become rigidly entrenched in the ‘status quo’, the way things ARE, regardless of what we say about wanting things to be different.

‘Conscious awareness of the power of the Limbic System allows us to begin to practice “Limbic Yoga”, a very advanced understanding which brings with it the strength, flexibility, and freedom to choose the direction our lives take.

Limbic Yoga takes daily discipline. Our brains are bio-chemical systems. The bio-chemistry creates a chemical desire for whatever it is fed. Here is the secret of limbering up the Limbic System. Feed your mind what you want it to create. In the Master Key Experience, we are continually linking cause and effect, training our brains to Think, Create, and Change, consciously, consistently, and effortlessly.

Note:  Effortless does not mean without work.  Just like Daniel in the Karate Kid, it is PRACTICE that entrains the subconscious mind. And not just practice, but CORRECT practice of the correct things.

You now have the Key to the Vault. It’s yours to use, or to cast aside. Are you in the game, or watching it from the sidelines.  This is YOUR Hero’s Journey. Take it.

Week Two: The Master Key Experience – Gatekeeper or Monkey Mind?

What you think you become You are what you eat. How many times have we heard it, thought it, and said it?  The body perfectly expresses the truth of this statement. What about the mind? You are what you THINK!  This is equally true and this eternal truth is expressed in many traditions.

The Bible: “Be careful how you think; your life is shaped by your thoughts.” [Proverbs 4:23]

The Buddha: “We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thoughts we make the world.’

Emerson: “You become what you think about all day long.”

Pretty powerful stuff!  No wonder we focus on self-mastery in both body and mind in the Monkey MindMaster Key Experience.  In Week 1, our assignment was to sit perfectly still for 15 minutes.  This week, Week 2, our assignment is to sit perfectly still for 15 minutes with no thought.  I achieve a series of moments of mindlessness daily. The Monkey Mind rules, however!  The Monkey Mind is the mind of distractions. The Monkey Mind fills my time of repose and focus with ‘To Do’ lists, mini-rants, questions, curiosities about the sounds I hear outside…….and on and on and on.  It is a humbling demonstration of the importance of training the mind, for if my life is shaped by my thoughts, it is beneficial to be the one consciously directing those thoughts.

tame the monkey mindAnd consciously directing thoughts is the job of the Objective mind. If we are to create our life through our thoughts, then we must be in control of the thoughts that enter into our consciousness. Haanel tells us “Not only can it impress other minds, but it can direct the subconscious mind. In this way the conscious mind becomes the responsible ruler and guardian of the subconscious mind. It is this high function which can completely reverse conditions in your life.”

Mastering the Seven Laws of Mind empowers us to become the master of our lives, the Gatekeeper who directs and instructs the sub-conscious mind such that the life of the desires of our hearts becomes our daily experience.

Stay tuned. This adventure only gets more interesting!
