Week CW20 – The Master Key Experience – The “C” Word: CHARACTER

CharacterMaster Choa, the founder of modern Pranic Healing, instructed his students that if they had to choose between meditation and character building, choose character building.

Character. It’s WHO you are when no one is looking.

Just what kind of Character are you?

In the Master Key Experience, we are in a kind of Character-Building Boot Camp!  Everything we thought worked is broken down, disassembled, and reassembled. We throw out broken parts, and build new parts out of seeming nothingness.  I liken it to those amazing Transformer toys that begin in one form, then morph into a new form, more powerful than the one before, and then do it again, and again, and again, until Total Transformation has occurred. The ‘Nothingness’ out of which we create is that Divine Spark within us, that part of us who knows for what purpose and passion our life was created, that part of us most people encase in cement, fearing their own Destiny, choosing to live small instead of living into magnificence.

It takes strength of Character to live magnificently.  This journey, truly my own Hero’s Journey, MasterKeyExperiencehas taken me through the Abyss of Mediocrity into the Elysian Fields of intentional, conscious creation of my life. I really cannot find the words to describe how fabulous it is to awaken each day with a sense of purpose, excited and happy about what the day will bring!  The most fun part is that I get to CHOOSE!  If I want a sunny day, my sunshine is within me.  If I need rest, the peaceful nature of a gentle rain settles my spirit and refreshes my heart.  If I need energy, I direct my mind to the reason God put me on the planet, and I have more energy than I need to do what I want to do.

Character takes courage.  An unexamined life is not worth living. It is the life a Zombie lives, but I am not a Zombie.  I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious, and happy.  Why? Because I choose it.  Fueled by gratitude, a heart overflows with love and loving kindness.  For me, it is nothing less than living as the miracle I am. Trillions of cells working in harmony keep my physical body optimally functioning. Trillions of cells, trained through the Master Key Experience, working in harmony to keep my mind alert, alive, awake, and aware.  I truly love consciousness. It is an ever-upward spiral into eternity.  Might I suggest that you give it a try?

Week Twenty-Two: The Great MKMMA Adventure – The Sounds of Silence

Long ago in a galaxy far away, Simon & Garfunkel released a beautiful ballad, The Sounds of Silence. The lyrics resonated with the generation out to change the world. I am a part of that generation, and was actively working to change the world then, as I am now.

The Sound Of Silence

Hello darkness, my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone

As I reflect upon them now, five decades later, I recognize in them the Hero’s Journey. I see the traps, habits, patterns, and distractions that keep us from our life purpose and passion, and the sound of the Herald’s Call, beckoning those with ears to hear of the great adventure of their life. Without a Helper, a Wizard or Witch in the Woods who appears in the life of the Hero while on his journey, quicksand, bandits, and the snake pits of old habits of thinking, being, and doing successfully sidetrack the Hero. I was sidetracked for years, but I continually returned to the Quest.

As a Certified Guide in The Master Keys, I have had the honor of being a helper to 15 brave and courageous men and women. Our tribe started with 25, but the hazards of the journey took some of us. The transformation bursting forth in the lives of these heroes astounds me, and humbles me. One woman called me with ecstatic joy realizing that she finally met her heart, her true self, and because of this work, she is free. Another man has shed all that slowed him down from fulfilling his life dream and is moving, full steam ahead, into his purpose. All of those who stay the course return to their origins with treasures beyond price. Self-Discovery…it’s found in the Sounds of Silence, every day, for 15 minutes, doing the work of the mind, the heart, and the spirit. I bow to all who dare to hope, to dream, that they can change the world through changing themselves and their lives. You can, too, if you choose.

Gristmills…..  Most incorrectly imagine that wheat is simply poured into the mechanism of the mill and out comes flour! We don’t see the transformation process. We don’t see the reasons why wheat yields flour under the pressure of the millstones.

What is that unseen factor? It is actually the art of the Miller. It is he who has the knowledge, experience, and skill to separate the grains of wheat to yield flour. He knows how to work with grist, the grains of wheat separated from the outer shells and ready to be poured into the next sieve.

Guilt? Or Unworthiness? Or Hurt Feelings? Or even Anger? How are these beneficial to you in accomplishing your goals and desires?

Each is a highly valued friend and ally, a tool to master in the toolbox of life. I didn’t always think this, but I’ve had the benefit of working with a Master Miller who knows exactly how to turn ‘chaff’ into food for the soul.

One night last March, I rounded a bend on a highway to see a stopped vehicle half-way in my lane and half-way in the lane to the left. There was no time to stop. Slowing down would not have saved me. I was awake, alert, aware, and totally focused. I was also scared. Hitting a stopped object at 65mph would not be pretty. I could die. If there was anyone in that stopped car, they could die. I was hyper-concentrated on my surroundings. I successfully maneuvered my vehicle, avoiding the stopped car without bleeding into the lane to my right, thereby not endangering the cars in that lane that were also traveling at high speeds.

Fear. Food for Life in that circumstance. What did I learn about fear that night? When I am afraid, I am super conscious, focused, aware, alert, and alive. I took appropriate action, and a ‘happy ending’ ensued. Can I take that experience, insight, and understanding to every situation wherein I find myself afraid? Definitely, but only if I am conscious of being fearful. Fear can be subtle, and when it is, it becomes a tool to keep me in patterns and habits that do not serve me, unless I identify it. Once named, I can take fear and put it to work to further my goals and interests.

Week Sixteen: The Great MKMMA Adventure – The 10 Habits of Kindness

Kindness WaveThis week, we loosed Wave of Kindness upon the world: 300 people committed to committing a minimum of 2 random acts of kindness done with an attitude of love each and every day.

If the wing of a butterfly as it moves across a field in South America affects the air currents on the entire planet, what do you think the      focused attention of 300 people can accomplish in transforming the world into a kinder, gentler place?

The practice of kindness enriches us, enlivens, us, and results in happiness. Each act of kindness has a ripple effect, and we really have no way of knowing how many lives each random act of kindness has in the world.

There is a sweetness in life when lived in the experience and energy of loving-kindness. And who doesn’t like sweet?

So, to sweeten your life, here are your 10 Habits of Kindness:

  1. Kind People Send flowers, chocolates, cookies, cards. In today’s ‘electronic world’, the human touch is looking like a candidate for the Endangered Species List! Touch someone’s heart today.
  2. Kind People Live Scroll Two: Choose to greet the day with love in your heart, and then give that love away in the form of heart-felt appreciation of another. Compliment someone. Offer deserved praise for a job well done, or a kind word spoken.
  3. Kind People Practice Compassion. Practice Rule Number Five. Honey, it’s not about you. When you are dealing with someone who is being the north end of a south bound horse, it’s about them. What can you say to make a difference? Sometimes, the simple act of          acknowledging that another person is having a difficult time frees them to remember who they really are.
  4. Kind People Kick Up An Attitude of Gratitude! Who has made a difference in your life? Find them. Call them. Write them a Thank You Note. Let them know the difference they made in you, and how much you appreciate them for doing so.
  5. Kind People Are Shocking! Walk into the local post office, police station, fire station, or sheriff’s office and thank the men and women there for their service to the community.

    Want to really shock them? Bring donuts and coffee.

  6. Kind People Are Engaging. Speak to the folks you encounter during the day. All those clerks, sales people,       service workers, teachers, janitors, garbage collectors, cleaning ladies, gardeners…..they all have names. Stop long enough to find out what their name is, and talk with them. Let them know they are seen, and heard, and worth seeing and being heard.
  7. Kind People Become Fairy God Mothers: Seriously, folks. Consider making a child’s wish come true. The Make-A-Wish Foundation gives you numerous levels and manners of giving a child the desires of their heart. Check it out for the ultimate feel-good experience.
  8. Kind People Become Selfish! Selfish is a good thing. It has nothing to do with being self-centered. It has everything to do with being a centered self, someone who has done the work, knows who they are, what they want, and when and where they are going. They are free to love, to laugh, to rejoice in being alive because they do not need the approval of others. They are Self-Actualized and Self-Directed. The Master Keys will do that for you, if you do the work. It’s the Ultimate Act of Kindness to You, and to everyone you know.
  9. Kind People are Polite: Please and Thank You are ALWAYS fashionable. So strut your ‘Miss Manners’ best and watch what happens! Guarantee you’ll love the results!

Authentic kindness kills fear, stinginess, stress, anxiety, and trusts that the Law of Reaping and Sowing is true.
