WEEK NINETEEN: The Great MKMMA Adventure – Skim Milk Mascarades as Cream

Borrowed_plumesAs Buttercup in HMS Pinafore sweetly sings to the Captain,

“Things are seldom what they seem,
Skim milk masquerades as cream;
Highlows pass as patent leathers;
Jackdaws strut in peacock’s feathers.”

So what am I looking at?  What am I seeing?

Does what I see have any bearing on what really IS?

 The Sun sets. The stars traverse the Heavens until the Rising Sun obliterates their images in its dazzling light.

Or not.

Imagine yourself standing upon the earth, looking at this wonderful night. What is really happening? The EARTH is spinning at 1040 miles per hour, changing my position on it with respect to the Sun and the Stars, resulting in the panorama pictured above. The Stars ARE moving as well, but not as I perceive them to move.

What else is happening?

As The World Turns at 1040 miles per hour, the Solar System at the Earth is spinning around the Sun at 67,062 miles per hour!  The Solar System is also careening through space, spinning around the Milky Way Galaxy at 560,000 miles per hour as it oscillates in a sine curve pattern  250 light years above and below the elliptical of the galaxy.  Of course, the Galaxies also engage in a dance as well, and the Milky Way is on a collision course with Andromeda.  As I ponder that, I get dizzy!

In the Master Key System, Haanel states, “In the Moral World we again find the same law; we speak of good and evil, but Good is a reality, something tangible, while Evil is found to be simply a negative condition, the absence of Good. Evil is sometimes thought to be a very real condition, but it has no principle, no vitality, no life; we know this because it can always be destroyed by Good; just as Truth destroys Error and light destroys darkness, so Evil vanishes when Good appears; there is therefore but one principle in the Moral World.”

And what is that principle?  For me, it is the expression of Love, the ONE Power and Cause of all that is, that was, and that is to come.

Love give us the strength to do what would otherwise be impossible.

Love’s presence eliminates what we see and perceive as evil.

Love’s light shatters the darkness.

Love IS.

When I change the way I look at things, the things I look at change.

Can I change the way I look at things such that I see the core of love in everyone I meet, in everything I encounter?

Can I see God in YOU?

Only if I first experience God in Me.
