Owls are silent hunters. Silent as in absolutely without sound. No flapping wings. And contrary to the scenes of them delivering mail in the Harry Potter movies, no vocalizations either. I remember one morning when I was in the woods near my home, I spied an owl perched in a tree. I gazed at him for more than a few minutes, remaining absolutely still as well. Finally he swooped from one tree to another….in silence….I continued to observe him. After about 15 minutes, I became aware of another presence somewhere. I searched the treetops and in a second tree some 100 feet away, very close to the top, was another owl. My gaze moved between them for several more minutes, until they both took flight and silently disappeared into the deeper woods.
The silence brings increased awareness, a higher consciousness, a profound understanding that we truly are all connected. When my vibration is that of peace and harmony, nature reveals her secrets, her magical beauty and wonders. It is a perfect expression of the Law of Least Effort. In that space, I am in absolute acceptance. I choose responsibility for my entire being, consciously aligning with God All That Is, and I am utterly defenseless…..what is there to defend when you are at one with all?
Immersing in Silence and Stillness produces Serenity, with the effect of being Vibrantly Alive on a whole new level.
A Spiritual Being, the Uncreated, having an experience of the Created World. It’s how God chose to grow us. Tending to the Vine causes the branches to grow stronger and faster, reaching new heights, and producing a bountiful harvest of fruit.
Am I the vine because I am the branch, producing the fruit, supported and sustained by the vine, of like being with it, at one with it, the same in substance, just different in degree?
Am I the vine because I see clearly what is to come before it is created?
Am I the vine because I work through the power of the Spirit to mold the plasticity of creation into the forms that serve me and allow me to be of service to others?
Am I the vine because I give joyously, thereby creating the space to receive joyously?
These are the never ending stories of our hearts unfolding as we greet each sunrise, each moonrise, each turning of the circles of life within.
